Cooper started a new preschool this week through our county for deaf/ hard of hearing children. I attend with him twice a week for 3 hours. He loves the toys and activities there so much. There are under 10 children that attend, most with multiple disabilities. It is amazing to see these kids thriving and their smile will melt your heart. Cooper's teacher signs and speaks to the kids and really encourages that they speak when wanting something. Already Cooper has had less tantrums and follows her directions better from his first day. I think his favorite time is snack time, they have the same 5 things offered, and his favorite is cheese puffs! Believe me he can say "cheetos" now! The school has a great routine, opening circle time, centers, (fine motor and art), free play, he loves the housekeeping area, snack and ending circle time. Our goal is to have him recieving special help this year with his articulation and pronunciation and hopefully mainstream to a regular preschool by the time he is 4. He is wearing his hearing aid much more now with the reward of a sticker when he keeps it on. I am thankful for the oppertunity to be involved with this special group of children, and that Cooper will have the oppertunity to thrive and grow here.

So adorable, and I think it will be so insightful and rewarding to see how much growth preschool will bring him! Looks like a great program, and they are lucky to have my little angel. Keep posting more pics.
